Advanced Laser Hair Removal Technology
At Joli Beauty, we use two advanced laser hair removal technologies: DPL (Dynamic Pulsed Light) and a Triple Wavelength Laser System. Having access to multiple technologies allows us to customize each treatment based on your individual skin type, hair colour, hair thickness, and treatment area.
DPL Technology
DPL uses controlled pulses of light energy to target the pigment within the hair follicle. This energy is absorbed by the follicle, helping to reduce future hair growth while maintaining comfort and protecting the surrounding skin. DPL technology is known for its precision and ability to deliver effective treatments with minimal discomfort.
Triple Wavelength Laser Technology
Our triple wavelength laser combines three wavelengths — 755nm Alexandrite, 808nm Diode, and 1064nm Nd:YAG— allowing the laser energy to reach different depths of the hair follicle. This advanced system provides versatility for treating a wide range of skin types and hair textures by allowing treatments to be tailored to each client’s unique needs.
By offering both technologies, we can provide a more personalized approach to laser hair removal, helping you achieve smoother skin with a treatment plan designed specifically for you.
Microneedling Recovery & Downtime
Microneedling has minimal downtime, with most clients experiencing mild redness and sensitivity similar to a mild sunburn for the first 24–72 hours after treatment. The skin may feel warm, tight, or slightly swollen during the initial healing period, and light peeling or dryness may occur as the skin renews itself.
To support the healing process, it is important to keep your skin hydrated both internally by drinking plenty of water and externally by using gentle, hydrating skincare products.
Most clients can return to their normal daily activities shortly after treatment; however, we recommend avoiding makeup, intense exercise, excessive heat, and direct sun exposure for the first 24–48 hours to allow the skin to properly heal. Following your personalized aftercare instructions will help support optimal healing and results.
We require 24 hours notice for any cancellations. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment or don’t show up, you will be charged a $55 cancellation fee.
As a precaution, we do not perform laser hair removal treatments during pregnancy, as there is not enough research to confirm its safety. Pregnancy hormones can also stimulate new hair growth, making it more difficult to achieve optimal results. While laser hair removal can effectively treat active hair follicles, it cannot prevent hormonal changes from producing new hair. For the best results, we recommend waiting until after pregnancy to begin or continue your laser hair removal treatments.
